This 2 5/16 inch fossilized Angustiden shark tooth pendant is a rare and exceptional find. The Angustiden, also known as the Narrow Tooth shark, was an ancient predecessor to the Megalodon that prowled the oceans millions of years ago. Its teeth are significantly rarer than Megalodon teeth and far harder to find in this condition, making this pendant a genuine collector level piece.

The tooth displays a deep glossy coloration ranging from rich dark black and burgundy across the root to a smooth cool gray blade. The enamel surface has a natural sheen that catches light beautifully. What truly sets this tooth apart is the serration. Good serration runs cleanly along both sides of the blade, well preserved and sharply defined even after millions of years. The vertical enamel lines running the length of the blade are clean and bold, giving this tooth a striking prehistoric character that is impossible to replicate.

Set with a stainless steel bail, this pendant is available on your choice of Greek leather cord in lengths of 18, 20, 22, or 24 inches, or a silver chain in 20 or 22 inches.

Every color shift, groove, and natural marking on this tooth formed over millions of years. No two are alike.

This is the actual tooth you will receive.
