Slender, sharp, and built for speed, the Mako shark tooth has a profile unlike any other fossil shark tooth you can wear. This 1 15/16 inch fossilized Mako shark tooth is a long, narrow blade that reflects the anatomy of one of the fastest and most agile predators to ever move through the ancient oceans. The root is earthy gray with a rough, heavily textured surface dense with the porous character that develops through thousands of years of natural fossilization. The blade is a cooler gray, smooth and clean with fine longitudinal lines running its length. The tip has a natural chip, noted here plainly so you know exactly what you are getting.

The chipped tip is a natural characteristic of a real ancient tooth that lived a real life before it fossilized. It does not affect the authenticity or fossil quality of this piece, and for many it only adds to the character of wearing something genuinely old. The tooth sits confidently on the cord, its elongated shape giving it a distinctly different presence than a wider Megalodon tooth. Warm tan bone beads banded in black and white complement the earthy gray tones of the root, while stainless steel wire wraps the root securely and stainless steel clamps finish both ends of the Greek leather cord.

Every detail on this tooth formed naturally over thousands of years. No two Mako teeth are the same.

This is the actual tooth you will receive.
